Pets that need either foster homes or forever homes in Arizona

Please take a look at the following pets that need either foster homes or forever homes.

Daisy- 11 yr. old, AKC registered West Highland Terrier (smallest photo)

Daisy is in foster care, and is looking for her forever home

Daisy is a West Highland Terrier who recently lost her lifetime companion to a very stressful and long illness.  Daisy is a morning girl and likes to sleep and snuggle in the evenings.  She likes lots of attention, toys, and is very curious.  She is good with other dogs but she is curious of cats, so nervous kitties won’t work.  Daisy is housetrained, but occasionally needs encouragement to go out.  Daisy has had experience with skin allergies that is managed with natural remedies and a healthy diet.  Daisy is a happy, sweet, loving little girl who still has lots of life in her and would love to spend it with someone special.

Nina- 4/5 yr. old white husky mix

Nina needs a foster or forever home.  She is currently living at a vet clinic.

Nina is a beautiful, sweet girl who was left with a neighbor when her family was evicted.  She does not seem to like cats and a small alpha dog tried to attack her so she was hiding in a closet.  She would do best in a home with dogs her own size.  She is also good around children.  Nina enjoys walks and also swimming.

Tiger (male) and Mno (female)- 4 yr. old brother and sister, shepherd mixes

These two siblings are already in foster care, they are looking for their forever homes.

Look at these pics.  Almost hard to believe they are litter mates.

Tiger and Mno are sweet and gentle members of our family.  They love the grandkids who range in age from 2years to 11years. They are well behaved and docile.  Use dog door and sleep in there own beds.

Tiger and her sister Mno have been together since birth, but the foster thinks they would be ok to be adopted out separately.

Carlos- Boxer/Staffordshire Bull mix, 2 yrs. old

Carlos is already in foster care, and is looking for her forever home.

Carlos is our first Pit mix to go through our new eval process.  He passed with flying colors :-)

Carlos was found in South Phoenix by his current foster in the streets near a busy intersection.  He was very dirty, obviously scared and was not wearing a collar.  He was taken to the Sedona Humane Society, where he stayed for 6 weeks.  His foster couldn’t stand the thought of him staying at the shelter any longer, so she went back to retreive him, and he has been living with her happily ever since.

Unfortunately, she is unable to give Carlos the attention and level of play that he needs.  He needs a home where he can get lots of exercise.  He is currently living with a Greyhound and a cat, but they don’t give him the level of play that he needs, wants and deserves.

Carlos is a loving, lovable, sweet, smart mama’s boy who just needs more to do or more people/pets to be around to play with.  If Carlos gets bored, he will find “things” to keep him busy.

Carlos went through an evaluation prior to being accepted into Lost Our Home, and the trainer said that “Carlos is an ambassador of the breed”.  What an honor :-)

Lucky- Boxer mix, under a year

Lucky is in foster care, and is looking for her forever home.

Lucky is a friendly girl, who is still a little shy of new situations.  Her foster says that she seems to be house trained and that they are working on crate training.  She also gets along with the foster’s cats, dogs and her 2 yr. old grandson.  Based on her size, she is still a growing puppy, and just needs a little training.

Lucky needs a home where she can get lots of attention and have somebody to play with.

If you, or someone you know, is interested in adopting any of these or another kitten/cat/puppy/dog, check them out on our web site and complete the Adoption application at  http://lostourhome.org.  We have hundreds waiting for new homes.  You can also search over 350,000 pets that need a home at:
