Our sitters are professional independent contractors—not employees—which means you get to work independently, but with the guidance and structure of the TLC team. We provide clear policies, client instructions, and helpful resources to set you up for success. While Pet CPR and First Aid certification is encouraged, it's not required—however, we’ll happily point you toward trusted certification programs if you’d like to pursue it.
Where We’re Hiring
We’re currently looking for pet sitters in Gilbert, Tempe, and Chandler. You must live in one of our core service areas—Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, or Mesa—to be eligible. Our sitters provide in-home care, and minimizing drive time between visits helps ensure prompt, reliable service for every client.
You’ll Need Reliable Transportation
Because our sitters travel to clients’ homes, a dependable personal vehicle is required. You’ll also need a smartphone, internet access, and a commitment to clear, timely communication. Whether you’re walking dogs in the Arizona heat or handling multiple visits in a day, punctuality and professionalism are essential.
What Makes a Great TLC Sitter?
We’re looking for:
Mature, responsible adults with strong attention to detail
Experience working with pets (volunteer or paid)
Availability during major holidays
Confidence handling pets of all sizes and temperaments
People who love animals and enjoy providing reliable, compassionate care
We offer positions for daily vacation sitters, midday dog walkers, and overnight sitters. Whether you’re up for early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or cozy overnights with a sweet pup curled at your feet—there’s a fit for your schedule.
