Donation Drive for Shelters

Presents 4 Pets is a nationwide program designed to help support local shelters and rescue groups as well as the animals they serve.

Kara Jenkins of TLC House & Pet Sitting Service, LLC is joining forces with the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) for the “Presents 4 Pets” campaign, an annual collection drive benefiting pets in shelters by providing items desperately needed to help keep shelters operational while maintaining the animals’ comfort and safety. This national program, sponsored annually by NAPPS. As part of this annual program, TLC House & Pet Sitting Service, LLC and other NAPPS members across the country are reaching out to their clients and encouraging them to collect and donate products for this worthy cause.

In 2009 TLC House & Pet Sitting Service collected approximately 1,263 items worth $3,439.40. In 2010 we collected 482 items approximately $1070.80. The national campaign has ended for 2010, but some locations (see list below) have agreed to keep the donation boxes to continue in their efforts to raise more for the shelters. TLC House and Pet Sitting will continue to collect and deliver to the local shelters and rescue groups to help everyone as much as we can.

ITEMS NEEDED:

Items such as toys, treats, blankets, towels, rugs, beds, Food (dry and caned), leashes, and collars are all being solicited.

All donations will be distributed to local animal shelters and rescue groups. Here are some wish list from our shelters.

If you would like to donate a gift card for a pet store please mail the gift card to our P.O. BOX (TLC House & Pet Sitting Service, P. O. BOX 7864, chandler, AZ 85246) along with your name and e-mail address so we can e-mail you a receipt for your donation.
