Janice Northup
Janice Northup is originally from Detroit, Michigan, but has been living and pet sitting in the Scottsdale area for almost 6 years now. She got her first cat when she was 6 years old. After that she was hooked. She is a cat lover all the way, but loves all animals. Over the years, Jan and her late husband had four cats and two dogs. Jan and her current husband have one cat, Simon, who was a feral cat who adopted them. He has been with them ever since 2009 and is a wonderful addition to their home. Jan says about pet sitting for TLC, “It is the most interesting and wonderful job I have ever had”. She looks forward to spoiling your pets while you are way.
Sharon Gribble
Sharon Gribble is originally from overseas and the East coast. Arizona has been her home since 2000. Sharon began pet sitting for TLC soon after moving to Arizona. She has experience caring for turtles, geckos, fish, rabbits, birds, dogs (large and small) and cats. The love of Sharon’s life is her 10 pound Peekapoo named Peekaboo who loves playing with her friends at the Chaparral dog park. Sharon also has four hand-fed, tamed cockatiels who prefer to sit on her head than in their cage. Sharon pet sits in Scottsdale, Tempe, and Phoenix.
Lisa Gilbert
Lisa Gilbert moved to Arizona from Vermont in 2007 after completing a Master of Social Work program. While enjoying the weather here in beautiful Scottsdale, Lisa spends most of her time hiking, biking, walking her dogs, and practicing yoga. Lisa feels that it is important to find a balance between helping people and caring for pets. She has a six year old Cavalier King Charles named Missy and a five year old cattle dog named Dude. They spend most of their days out jogging the canal, prancing down the greenbelt, or at the dog park playing. Lisa’s interests also include pet training and staying up to date on how to handle animal behaviors and interactions. As a pet sitter, she has received many thanks from clients for her respectful attention to detail, and love for their animals.Lisa describes herself as “a lover and a learner of animals and my dogs are the apple of my eye.” Lisa services Scottsdale and Paradise Valley.
Ann Dunshee
Ann is an AZ native. She recently relocated back to the area after having lived elsewhere for 7 years. She shares her home with her 11 year old Buddy (Red Heeler/Lab mix). She has owned cats, a Gecko lizard, a gerbil, and a variety of other animals including dogs: Huskies, Labs, and mix breeds. While living in Florida, Ann volunteered with a cat-placement home, She helped care for cats while they waited for their forever homes. Ann worked for TLC about 7 years ago before moving from the area and is very happy to be working with TLC again. Ann pet sits in Scottsdale.
